Custom Rest API - Connection Details

Treno has the ability to fetch data from custom data sources with available REST based APIs.  Depending on the custom data source, Treno can connect using OAuth or a special API key scoped to specific data sets.

Treno does not write data to any data source.

While the exact data pulled from a custom data source cannot not be articulated without knowing the purpose of the data - it can be stated that from most data sources, Treno pulls metadata that is used to derive and calculate metrics. 

Connection Options:

• API key configured to only allow access to specific data areas

• Basic information: TBD based on the connection and need

• Metadata:

Data Treno Writes

Treno does not write any data to data source
